Icom IC-R100: BFO for CW and SSB

This is a 20yr old receiver 0.1-1856 MHz AM/FM/WFM and I would try to add a BFO for receive CW/SSB.

Some years ago it was possible to find an option bfo board, but now it’s impossible.

Now I want try to adapt this TEN-TEC BFO

Results? I have IC r100 and need modification for cw ssb too.

  I’ve built the Tentec kit in external box then injected the 455KHz carrier to the AM detector.
  Result is quite good but without appropriate filter, listening a crowded band can be a difficult task.

    Hi, sorry but the IC-R100 cannot be controlled via CAT by the PC.
