Rotator interface

Rotator Interface for Yaesu G-400 (and others)

This was my first project with microprocessors (2005) and it’s still working in my shack. The antenna can be rotate by buttons, numeric pad or via PC RS232. The reading is compatible with Nova for Windows and other tracking softwares using the Easycomm I protocol on the serial port.

This project works with any rotator with potentiometer readout and the last firmware permits to set the STOP (mechanical end limit) at any angle between 0° and 360°. It works with the original control box (I like the Yaesu compass display)
